Pink Lily

The theme this week at The CD Sunday Challenge is "Ornate Blossom".  This is my third attempt because each one I made looked like a sympathy card.  I am hoping this is bright and cheerful enough for a birthday.  The image is from The Big One cd by La Pashe.  I have decoupaged the main flower only.  The frame is the negative of a die and the backing paper is from one of my cd's but cannot remember which one.  I always seem to be saying that but when I get a new cd I seem to go mad and print everything that appeals to me and then I end up with hundreds of backing paper.  I am trying to use it up before I print more!

  1. A gorgeous card Michelle. It makes a great Birthday card. A little tip about all that printing out. Just write on the back in pencil the name of the Cd used. Good advice which I don't always follow.
Thank you for joining in with us.

  6. It's beautiful. I've never thought of using negative dies as frames like that - just think of all those potential frames I must have thrown away!
